Zuvox is a premium PlayStation rental service operating in Abuja, Nigeria. Zuvox is operated by Zuvox Technologies Ltd. By creating an account or booking a rental, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to rent from Zuvox. Before any equipment is delivered, you must complete identity verification (National Identification Number) and address verification (a valid government-issued ID and a recent bank statement confirming your address). Zuvox reserves the right to refuse or cancel any rental where verification cannot be completed to our satisfaction.
A refundable security deposit is required for every rental. The deposit is held against loss, theft, or damage to the equipment and is returned to your Zuvox wallet after the equipment is returned in good condition, subject to inspection. Zuvox may deduct from the deposit the cost of repair or replacement for any damage beyond normal wear, or the full replacement value where equipment is not returned.
Rental fees, deposits, and membership payments are funded through your Zuvox wallet. Funds added to your wallet are held for the purpose of paying for rentals, deposits, and membership plans. Rental fees are charged at the time of booking. If a booking is cancelled by Zuvox, the rental fee is refunded to your wallet. Withdrawal of unused wallet balance is subject to verification of your identity and bank account ownership.
You agree to use the equipment for personal, lawful purposes only; to keep it secure and not sub-rent, resell, or transfer it; to not tamper with, modify, or attempt to remove any tracking or identification on the equipment; and to return all items in the condition they were delivered, on the agreed return date.
You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until it is collected or returned. In the event of loss or theft, you must notify Zuvox immediately and may be liable for the full replacement value. Equipment is tracked; attempting to defeat tracking or failing to return equipment may result in loss of your deposit, recovery action, and reporting to relevant authorities.
Verified users may request to host a Zuvox Tournament, subject to our review and approval. Hosts and participants are responsible for conducting themselves fairly and lawfully; Zuvox may remove a tournament, disqualify a participant, or withhold a prize where we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, or abuse. Entry fees for paid offline tournaments are charged from your wallet at the time of registration and are non-refundable once the event has taken place, except where the event is cancelled by Zuvox.
Zuvox collects personal information and verification documents solely to verify your identity and address and to operate the rental service. Verification documents are stored securely, access is restricted, and documents are deleted after a defined retention period following your last rental. Zuvox processes personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
You may cancel a booking before delivery, subject to our cancellation policy. Zuvox may cancel a booking where verification is incomplete, where we reasonably suspect fraud, or where equipment is unavailable, with a refund of the rental fee to your wallet.
Zuvox provides the equipment on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Zuvox is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the equipment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
Zuvox may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
